Proceeds to Benefit the Ilsa Gottlieb Campership Fund

The Bedford Recreation Department announces a Bedford Community Yard Sale to benefit the Ilsa Gottlieb Campership Fund. It will be held on Saturday, May 10th from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. in the John Glenn Middle School cafeteria. We are seeking donations of furniture, books, toys, clothing, household items, working small appliances, sports equipment, bikes and anything else taking up space in your home that you would like to donate. Items can be dropped off on Friday, May 9th from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. or the morning of the sale (after 7:00 a.m.). Start cleaning out those closets! No Early Birds! Left over items will become free at 2:00 p.m.
Anyone interested in renting a spot at the Bedford Community Yard Sale to sell their items individually can do so for $50.
Each year, scholarships to Summer Adventures are offered to some children in town who would really benefit from two weeks of Summer Adventures but cannot afford to attend. If you would like to make a monetary donation to this great cause, please make checks payable to the Ilsa Gottlieb Campership Fund and mail them to the Campership Fund, Bedford Recreation Department, Town Center, 12 Mudge Way, Bedford, MA 01730.
